The Hochschule Luzern – Musik cooperates with LUCERNE FESTIVAL in an international Masterclass with pianist Peter Hill. This 4-day masterclass will focus on the piano repertoire from baroque to modern music. Special attention will be given to the Well-Tempered Clavier by Johann Sebastian Bach and works by Olivier Messiaen.
Applications are encouraged from pianists that choose to perform a prelude and fugue from the Well-Tempered Clavier as well as one piece by Messiaen.    

Dates: Monday 18 - Thursday 21 November 2019
Attending all classes is obligatory. Students can visit the festival concerts in the evenings.

Fee: Active CHF 500.– / Listeners CHF 30.–/day / Students HSLU free.

The registration period ends on August 10th 2019, shortly thereafter your application will be processed and you will receive a written notification as to the status of participation. In case of acceptance, the course fee of 500 Swiss Francs is to be fully paid cash on the first day of the masterclass.
